Patricio J. Gutierrez is an American corporate and international transactional attorney, entrepreneur and business adviser based in Austin, Texas. He is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Gutierrez Law Group PLLC, a Texas firm advising companies, entrepreneurs, investors and family enterprises on corporate transactions and U.S. business operations, and he serves as Of Counsel to the Spanish-based global firm Ontier, where he contributes to the firm's U.S. corporate strategy for clients from Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
A South Texas native and first-generation American, he learned early how language, trust and relationships work differently across borders. That perspective, combined with legal training at SMU Dedman School of Law and the University of Oxford's Comparative Law Programme, shaped a practice built on translating complexity into clarity for clients who are new to the American system. Earlier in his career he worked at the White House and served as a Texas prosecutor, experiences that inform a practical, policy-aware approach to corporate work.
His work spans U.S. market entry, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, joint ventures, commercial contracts, governance and commercial real estate, with clients from Mexico and Latin America, Spain and Europe, and other regions.
